- Roots visible through a translucent pot: Javier Mediavilla Ezquibela, Wikimedia Commons, CC BY 2.5. The image illustrates visibility through a pot, not root health or rot. Pot walls and reflections limit detail. Displayed copies are resized and compressed; no diagnostic features were added.
- Phalaenopsis aerial roots: Nefronus, Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 4.0. The resized WebP derivatives retain the same license. No diagnostic features were added; the photograph cannot establish root health or identify a pathogen. Image and license checked October 4, 2026.
Editorial limits
We do not use photographs alone to identify pathogens. If you need a treatment, confirm the cause with a qualified local source and follow product labels and local rules.
Review-guide photograph and drawings
Developed flower stems: Julian Herzog, Wikimedia Commons, CC BY 4.0; resized and converted to WebP, no plant structure changed. This photograph is not an emerging-spike identification test. Root/stem and six repotting drawings are original explanatory vectors, not specimen photographs or a tested procedure record. Their guide captions name the supporting AOS/RHS principles.
