How our guidance is prepared

Our guides are prepared with AI assistance and checked against the cited public horticultural sources. This is a source review, not an independent expert review or a record of experiments. We do not claim professional horticultural credentials or guaranteed results. “Lab” is our project name.

Every guide identifies its plant scope, source links and source-review date. We separate observations from diagnoses, retain unknown answers in the tool, and recommend local help for rapid decline or uncertain root assessment.

Photographs and corrections

Image credits and reuse licenses are listed on the sources page. A photograph of visible roots is not evidence of root health or rot. We do not use generated photographs as identification evidence.

When a correction is needed, we check the supporting source, update the affected guidance and record the change. There are currently no paid placements, affiliate links, advertisements or paid products on this site.
